This years’ festival was on 18th and 19th of this month and it went very well. The Team would love feedback and any suggestions or issues that can be added to the “wash-up” meeting. We will of course get some things wrong ! Please talk to us so that we can work out what those things are and share your thoughts for the near and distant future.

We are having some survey work done to be able to install better internet connection and Wi-Fi which will enable some security cameras to be used in places where some “problems” have occurred including fly-tipping at the bin store. This will be phased over many months and we will share more details when we have them.

As you will all be aware, Mick has now sold his interest in Cosgrove marina to “us”. Mick and Shirley are still both here and are a core part of making the marina successful. The “us” is a group of investors who have purchased the business from Mick and taken on the lease from the Canal and River Trust. We are all Buckingham Canal Society members and anticipate growing the marina as the restoration work continues.
